Lancaster County, Amish Country

As the oldest of nine children, Verna Fisher has been serving others all her life. Born and raised in Lancaster County, PA, Verna was part of the Amish community until she was ten years old and has participated in traditional Amish schooling for much of her life, both as student and teacher. When she was 14, she acquired her first job at a local bakeshop in Lancaster. Over the years, Verna has developed her skills as a cook, waitress, and Amish schoolteacher, eventually finding her calling as a bed & breakfast innkeeper.

Verna's warmth and gift for serving others, as well as her rich local heritage, are a perfect match for welcoming our guests and making your stay an enjoyable, refreshing experience! Please inquire with the Innkeeper if you are interested in an authentic Amish tour or meal.
